Children's Story- Charming Sharmila |
I`m Sharmila and I am 17 years old. Together with my older brother Sunil we have been at CFO for more than ten years. We have a mother and visit her regularly. Our family is from Tarai region in southern Nepal. The father lost his life in Nepal`s internal conflict. The CFO-Children`s Village has become my home and my favorite pastime is performing dances, mostly traditional Nepali ones. My life was quite turbulent in 2015: In spring I passed SLC-Exams. In May I was lucky to be chosen for a student-exchange program and I visited Germany for 3 weeks. Afterword the big decision was made to study to be a Nurse at the Sushma Koirala Memorial Hospital Nursing Campus in Sankhu. To leave the CFO-friends behind was difficult but we are in close contact still.
