CFO-Youth`s Story - Yamana at Apollo Int. College |
I am Yamana and am 19 years old. In 2004 I was admitted to CFO-Children`s Home in Kathmandu because my father has died and my mother had no means to raise me and my small brother who is six years younger than me. I could not attend school at that time and cooked the meals at home and even for our neighbors while my mother looked for a job. At CFO I am happy and love to go to school. After passing 10+2 successfully I was admitted at the Apollo International College for BBA. I was very lucky to be invited to Germany by my sponsor for two visits in 2012 and 2014. Except the food, which is very different from what one eats in Nepal, I love these journeys and am grateful to everybody involved for giving me this opportunity which only few young people in Nepal have.
