Children's Story- Talented Babita |
Namaste! I am Babita, am 18 years old and I came to CFO a few years ago with my small brother. We had a farm in the Dhaulagiri mountains and a good life. Suddenly everything changed. Both my parents lost their lives due to tragic circumstances. We children were lucky to find shelter at the home of my auntie in Kathmandu. But she is an elderly lady and could not raise us because of lack of income. At that stage she decided to admit us at CFO-Children`s Home. My brother was 4 years at that time and needed a good family. He was adopted to Germany and has a good life.
In the year 2015, right after giving the SLC-Exams of Class 10, I was very lucky: A scholarship of an International School in Germany, Bavaria, was given to me and I went to study there recently.
Fingers crossed, it is not easy, but a big opportunity for my future!
