Children's Story- Three Lovely Sisters |
18 years old Laldi Maya lives at CFO with her two younger sisters, Nandi Maya (15 years) and Nau Maya (13 years ). Their story is another sad one. Nandi says: My mother died after giving birth to our youngest sister Buddhi Maya. After that my sisters and I felt like we had no one who loved us and we were very unhappy. My father brought us to the CFO-Children`s Home. It was hard at first but now we are happy there and have the opportunity to go to school. My father married again and sometimes he visits us at CFO. We also go home for Dashain and Tihar celebrations regularly. At CFO there is lots of love from our Didis (caregivers) and we feel good to be with many other children at the Children`s Village in Dhading. It`s like a big family living together.
